In school, my teachers clipped my wings,

Normal is boring!!!
Each day I get up and pray,
God! today should be different; different from yesterday,
Imagine how boring would it be,
If between yesterday,today and tomorrow we have nothing new to see...
Change is good and change is bad,
Change can make you happy and sometimes sad,
So enjoy life as it comes and take it each day,
Trust me fellows, I wouldnt have it any other way...
Each day is new and beautiful in its own way,
With something new to do, someone new to "woo",
Some new experience to be had, some real good advice from your dad,
Some new colour on your hair, someone new to sit on your favorite chair,
Someone new to pat your back and rekindle the fire, some new nail to burst your tyre,
Someone new to fight for you, someone old to start a new fight with you,
Someone new to wish you "all the best", someone new to top the test,
Someone new to be old, someone old to be new...
Life can be beautiful if you stop asking "why"?,

When the sun that rises begins to fall,
When the sky looks too big to be small,

When you study hard for your maths exam,
When the results come, you fail in all but one,

When you attend an interview with shirt and tie,
When the job goes to the other guy,

When the girl that you like runs away with a guy,
When all that she says while leaving is bye-bye,

When you are toiling hard to lose some weight,
When, just then someone gifts you a whole chocolate cake,

When I look back at what I have become,
Not so much where I am, but where I have come from,
All the trials and tribulations dont matter to me,
'Am I a better man now?' is the only thing that I ask me!
When I was a kid, I was selfless, am I now?
I would go out of my way to help my friends, should i now?
All the money in the world didn't matter to me then, neither the cars,
Now, will I be happy even if I achieve the stars?
More, more , more and more of everything I need,
How can I be greedy? when millions of children have nothing to feed?
Can I help them lead a better life or can you?
It dosent take pot loads of money only a slight motivation will do!
So I pleadge today, I would try and get better and better,
Not only at my job, life but also as a son and brother,
Because when you knock heaven's doors nothing else will matter,
God is only gonna ask, tell me son, 'Did you get better?'

It ain't the truth they always show,
Inflation/corruption up and development low...
I agree things were the same some time ago,
When 'Where is India?' an american would go,
But now India is everywhere from washington to tokyo,
Not surprising the whole wide world is going gung-ho...
Culture, pride , values and diversity,
These give us the strength and courage to fight any adversity,
With a knack of bonding as a nation in grave calamity,
Superior we are for sure among this big wild socio-political fraternity..
As we step into the fast lane and take on the big boss,
Let us pledge and ensure, culture and heritage are not at loss,
With India splashing news in every which way,
The 'Tiranga' my friend is very much here to stay...
So my news buddies dont make such a fuss,
With thousand minuses, also project our plus,
Let us spread the message and open mindset locks,
Till the day every Indian is convinced 'India really really rocks!!!'

Hey People!
I am Anirban. Reason I started blogging? Well I have a POV on everything. I need "space" to express and can't think of a better medium than web. I intend to blog about everything starting with some poetry which I have written in the past. I believe peotry is music in words.
